Why this project matters

A secure home gives a family a foundation for everyday life. For those living without dependable shelter, it can mean greater safety, a place for children to grow and relief from the uncertainty of where they will live.

Through the Holy Family Housing Project, Prem Marg seeks to respond to homeless and extremely vulnerable families whose need for safe shelter is most urgent.

A vision rooted in compassion

The Holy Family Housing Project has been envisioned by His Grace Archbishop Most Rev. Prince Antony Panengadan. His pastoral vision gives particular attention to the poorest and most marginalised families, recognising that every family deserves a home where life can be lived with dignity, love and hope.

Inspired by the Holy Family

Drawing inspiration from the Holy Family of Nazareth and their experience of uncertainty and displacement, the initiative expresses Prem Marg’s Christian commitment to compassionate service. It seeks to turn care for vulnerable families into practical support, in keeping with the Trust’s inclusive mission.
