AROGYA JYOTHI — rural women’s health, hygiene & nutrition

AROGYA JYOTHI focuses on improving health, hygiene, nutrition and well-being among women and children from vulnerable families in Kollapur Village. The initiative promotes sanitation, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, preventive healthcare and healthy living through education and outreach. Planned support includes health camps, medical check-ups, hygiene kits, sanitary materials and essential health assistance, while also addressing malnutrition, anaemia, child labour, school dropouts, child marriage and social exclusion.

SAGARA DEEPTHI — fisher folk community development

PREM MARG identified an island community in the backwaters of the Srisailam River in Kollapur Mandal where 55 fisherman families live in extreme poverty and face recurring flood damage to homes and fishing nets. The proposed initiative seeks to provide fishing nets, promote sustainable livelihoods, introduce organic farming for household food security and improve overall community resilience.

Akshara Deepam — Lamp of Learning

Akshara Deepam seeks to address illiteracy by providing structured educational support and lifelong learning opportunities for fisherfolk families, women, children, and older people in the community.

Holy Family Housing Project

A new initiative to help homeless and extremely vulnerable families find safe, dignified homes. Planned inauguration: 10 October 2026.
