PREM JYOTHI MAHAILA SANGH (PJMS)

PREM MARG envisages the empowerment and main streaming of the marginalised and excluded communities through mobilising, forming and strengthening of Community Based Organisations which we understand as Social Capital. The women are formed as groups in the name of Prem Jyothi Mahila Sangh, in short, PJMS. Every village where PREM MARG undertakes development initiatives, these CBOs are formed. This is promoted as platforms for empowerment and change, in the family, community and society at large through a process of awareness creation, building lead-ership and strengthening them as pressure groups towards collective action for a social change. Collectivism does not end at village level but federate themselves at Mandal(Block), District and Organisational level.
